Suffering from uneven, rough skin? Perhaps your skin is feeling lifeless and in desperate need of some TLC?
Exfoliating your skin a couple of times a week could be the answer to smooth, bright, glowing skin. Why should I exfoliate my skin?
Exfoliation effectively treats a myriad of skin concerns, from dullness and sallowness to hyperpigmentation and roughness. Every day, your skin goes through a continuous process of renewal. This process takes 25 to 30 days on average but tends to slow with age. One continuous cycle of natural exfoliation leads to almost 80% of your skin cells being replaced monthly. When your skin's renewal process works optimally, your complexion remains soft, supple, and youthful.
I've used Murad Intense Resurfacing Peel, dermalogica gentle cream exfoliant. The latter would be more suited to more sensitive skin types. The former gives you a very smooth polished look that instantly diminishes the fine lines. Exfolikate is different.
When natural exfoliation is slowed by external stressors or age, skin becomes prone to all those signs of ageing you wish to avoid. Are there different types of exfoliators? Just like, there are different types of exfoliators, Keep your complexion bright and youthful with regular use of a physical or chemical exfoliant.
Reliable physical exfoliants such as muslin cloths, facial scrubs, and exfoliating brushes can easily be integrated into your routine to smooth your skin's surface. Alternatively, you can use a chemical exfoliant containing actives such as salicylic, glycolic, or lactic acids that can be found in a variety of concentrations. It is important not to over exfoliate your skin, as your skin may begin to over produce oil.

This exfoliant is all times ultimate weapon whenever I get breakouts as well as part of my regular weekly routine. Is ideal as a part of skincare routine for people with oily skin but would not suggest it to people with sensitive skin.
Product definitely worth it's value so do not worry for the result because you WILL see one I can tell you that much;) - P.S.-.tips from KateB. For the best result follow exfoliator with any type of mud mask to actually peel away dead skin cells and do not forget to restore balance with any type of hydration treatment afterwards;). I love this mask. I've been using it 1-2x a week for about 6 months as my AHA exfoliant and it's my go-to when I have inflamed acne as it greatly reduces redness and inflammation. In terms of application, it definitely tingles upon application and also after it's been applied, but after time, my skin has developed a tolerance and I don't feel it as intensely, but trust me it still works!
It's a pretty dry mask so I try to apply quickly but also generously. I would recommend it as a weekly treatment at first and once the skin adjusts, ease into bi-weekly application, especially if you use other acids. Happy masking!
